I have a bucket list like a lot of people but unlike a lot of people mine is a little different!! I have a hankering to do a single handed transatlantic yacht race. It has been done before by many people and it is one hell of a challenge. There is a lot to organise and plan and training to be done. Add to that you need a boat at least 30 feet hopefully a bit bigger, it needs the right kit on-board, the list goes on........... and on and on. Right now I don't have 2 brass farthings to rub together but I have a dream and a great wife who lives with my mad ideas and cracking friends around me who also think I'm crazy but will help me anyway. I am a very lucky man. I also have a boat, a small one, not big enough to do the race with, but I can practice and train and hone my skills and gain more qualifications which will all help towards achieving this dream. In the meantime there is a cracking boat lying in Gosport which was originally designed for this race so if anyone has a spare £23000 lying around to lend me............... 😀
